I was down sizing, sold an antique Ford Mustang that wasn't running on an eBay auction needed to be shipped to California, other was from England.

I eventually found a private trucker with a large car carrier that was doing door to door pickups and drop offs for people moving around the country.

I still have the original 289 V8 being stored inside at the beach and not sure if it's fixable or not, a piece of a spark plug had broken off inside.

It was replaced with a 302 V8 out of a Ford Maverick. He did not want the other original engine was free, maybe 302 V8 was a limited option from 1971.

Anyway I did not want to spend the money to restore the car. I was wondering if you thought that 289 V8 can be salvaged? I got to do something with it.
